Jeff was raised around the sport from birth. His parents Jim and Mary Jo Ledford owned two different race tracks in the state of Michigan (Manistee County Dragway and Mid Michigan Motorplex). Jeff started his racing career in a Super Gas Camaro at the age of 14. His first taste of victory would come at a Super Chevy Sunday event held in Martin, Michigan at the age of 15. |
At 17 years old Jeff became the youngest driver ever to win the prestigious Moroso 5 Day Points Championship (a record that still stands). Since that time Jeff has been a 5 time Florida Winter Series Champion. Jeff's career highlight came in 1992 winning the IHRA Top Dragster World Championship. |

SInce then he has picked up numerous big money bracket racing championships as well as 11 IHRA Pro AM victories. In 2006 Jeff returned to the IHRA tour and picked up the Division 3 Championship and finished 11th nationally. In total Jeff has won more than 200 races in his career. |

Jeff plans to continue pursuing Top Dragster championships in both the IHRA as well as the newly created Top Dragster class in the NHRA series. Jeff builds all of his own race cars in his Warrior Race Cars Shop in Stanton, Michigan. He continues to carry the Rislone/ Bars Leaks banner that has been a part of his team for the past five seasons. Jeff also receives assistance from Pro Systems Carburetors. |
