The Rislone URC Sprint Tour of 2008 made their final visit of the season on Saturday night at the Delaware International Speedway. Rookie driver Chuck Palmucci scored his first career win last night as the "Houston Hurricane" Becca Anderson snatched the Taylor & Messick Delaware State Sprint Series championship title. For Anderson and team sponsor Bar's Leaks, it was an impressive run for the championship going into the show second in points and ending the night ranked number one in the state of Delaware. For Palmucci and Anderson, they'll be gearing up for URC's next show, Saturday, October 4 at the New Egypt Speedway.
Their only concern on October 4 will be trying to stop the "Jersey Jet", JJ Grasso, who is undefeated this season at New Egypt. The following weekend, the Rislone URC Sprint tour will head to New York for the Annual Sprint Shoot Out at the Wheels on Saturday night, October 11 at the Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, NY.
